What a day for a picnic!! – an even better day for a Teddy Bears’ Picnic!!! Staff and boys and girls from St. Fergus’ NS, enjoyed the green space and the sunshine as we all lunched together under our flags.
There is no doubt but that the event was good for both our physical and mental well-being as we chatted and laughed beneath our Green and Cineáltas Flags. Some teddies were very much tattered and worn – the sign of a much loved furry friend with some also being around a lot longer than others (Mrs Kennelly’s missing two eyes and with holes in patches has been through many a war with her!!!).
Thank you to all the lovely boys and girls for sharing the picnic with each other and their very special friends. Míle buíochas to the Students’ Council who organised the event.
