Parents’ Council

At St. Fergus’ National School, we are proud to have a vibrant and supportive Parents’ Council that plays a key role in enriching school life. The Council works closely with school staff to support educational and extracurricular experiences for all our pupils.

What the Parents’ Council Does

The Parents’ Council helps to:

  • Organise fundraising events and school raffles
  • Provide financial support for extracurricular activities such as drama, dance, music, and computing
  • Cover the cost of annual outings, including the much-loved school trip to the Christmas Panto at the University of Limerick
  • Fund art lessons delivered each year by our visiting art teacher, Tommy The Art Man
  • Assist with special school occasions, including First Holy Communion celebrations and other school events

Their time, dedication and generosity greatly enhance the opportunities available to our pupils and are deeply appreciated by the entire school community.
