Second Class, have already begun preparation for their First Holy Communion next year. We have started learning our prayers and are really enjoying our Religion lessons from the new programme Grow In Love. We have been learning about our first sacrament-Baptism. When we were babies, we were welcomed into the Catholic Faith on our Christening Day. We learned about the symbolism of this sacrament, from the white garment to the baptismal candle. We talked about the people who came to our special day. It is nice to look at photographs of this big occasion in our lives.

We all belong to our families, our class, our school and many other groups and communities. As we are all part of the one classroom, we created a tree of hands to show that we all belong together!
