A phone call from Ennis this afternoon brought the news that we had waited for all day-the girls of St Fergus’ N.S. were after beating the team from Tipperary and were crowned Munster Champions in the Spar 5-A-Side Soccer Competition. County Champions
Congratulations and well done to our Senior Girls 5-A-Side Soccer team who won the county championship on Friday. They defeated Herbertstown 5:3. In a terrific team performance, the girls outclassed their opponents to receive their gold medals and secure a place for themselves in the Munster Finals in Ennis next Tuesday, the 28th April.
